Ms. Nancy Flexer taught at Cole Elementary for 41 years. In each of those years, she touched the lives of students and families at Cole and was rightly beloved by all who worked with her.
When it came time for her to retire last year, her colleagues did it right. They threw her a surprise party from none other than Kid President, America’s most awesome junior politician.

We all owe a huge thank you to Ms. Flexer for her decades of dedication to her students and Metro Schools. When I asked her about her time at Cole, she said everything the school and the district did for her in 41 years was a blessing.
What an awesome educator.
